Beebe expands specialty care services in Millsboro

Beebe Healthcare marked its continued expansion in western Sussex County on May 19 with ribbon-cutting ceremonies for new specialty care offices in Millsboro.
The healthcare system celebrated the opening of Beebe Neurology Millsboro and the future location of Beebe Endocrinology Millsboro, both aimed at increasing access to specialty medical services in one of Sussex County’s fastest-growing communities.
The new neurology office is located at 232 Mitchell Street, Suite 102, in Millsboro and officially opened with a public ribbon-cutting ceremony featuring Beebe leaders, clinicians and staff.
According to Beebe Healthcare, the new practice will provide outpatient care for a wide range of neurological conditions and will also coordinate neurosurgical care when needed.
“Yesterday 5/19 we celebrated Beebe’s expansion into the Millsboro area with two ribbon cuttings,” Beebe Healthcare said in a statement. “The opening of the Beebe Neurology Millsboro practice, and the location for Beebe Endocrinology Millsboro brings increased access to services in one of Sussex County’s fastest growing areas. Congratulations to our clinicians and staff at these new locations!”
Dr. Lawrence Kemp will see patients at the Millsboro neurology office. Kemp is a general neurologist specializing in the diagnosis and treatment of conditions including dementia, movement disorders, neuromuscular diseases, multiple sclerosis, epilepsy, migraines and neuropathies.
