The City of Milford will host a public input meeting on Thursday, Dec. 15 from 6:00 PM to 8:00 PM at City Hall, 201 S. Walnut Street, Milford, DE.  The City and its traffic engineering consultant, Century Engineering, Inc., will be available during the two-hour period to gather feedback on a proposed S. Walnut St. Traffic Calming & Bike/Pedestrian Concept Plan from the public.

The City hired Century Engineering, Inc. to complete a traffic calming study, which analyzes traffic conditions, identifies possible improvements for traffic calming/speed reduction, identifies gaps in the pedestrian network and develop a recommended concept plan for bicycle, pedestrian and road improvements to enhance the S. Walnut Street corridor (between McCoy Street and Maple Ave).  The final concept plan would be used to develop construction plans for future City capital projects.

All parties of interest are invited to participate in the public input meeting.  Questions should be directed to Rob Pierce, Planning Director, at 302-424-8395 or [email protected].
