City of Milford announces 2026 Touch-A-Truck event

The City of Milford will host its annual Touch-A-Truck event on Saturday, Aug. 15, giving families an opportunity to explore a variety of vehicles and meet members of local departments and organizations.
The free event will take place from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m. on South Walnut Street in Milford.
Attendees will be able to get a closer look at trucks and equipment used by city departments and local emergency responders. Participating groups will include Milford Public Works, Milford Police, Parks & Recreation, Electric, Carlisle Fire Company and others.
The hands-on event is designed to give children and families a chance to learn more about the vehicles, equipment and services that support the community.
The City of Milford’s Touch-A-Truck event is free and open to the public.
