Newark, DE – If you’ve worked on your financials with a Delaware Small Business Development Center Advisor recently, chances are you’ve worked with Margo Reign.
With 12 years of service to the Delaware SBDC, Margo has devoted time to wineries, theatres, jewelry stores, and more – everything from innovative agriculture startups to mom-and-pop storefronts. With her extensive background in banking, Margo’s help with financials for entrepreneurs across the state has been invaluable.
“Margo Reign has been incredibly helpful ever since I first met with her to discuss my business idea which was all I had at the time. She mentored me and provided a ton of information to help me get this business off of the ground, successfully.”
– Blake Armentano (Founder, OhSoCycle)
While Margo has served as an Instructor for StudentLink course BUAD 444 and spearhead of the “Family Business Series” events in partnership with Delaware Business Times, our SBDC has been able to better serve our clients with innovative, educational, and unique programming.
“Margo Reign has been our main point of contact at the Delaware SBDC. Her invaluable insight has helped us link up with the right people and navigate new challenges and opportunities.”
– Ryan Flanagan (Co-CEO, Hatching Time LLC)
Her passion for serving family-owned small businesses is longstanding – Margo spent time earlier in her career as the Director of the Delaware SBDC’s “Family Business Center” and spent several years at Artisan’s Bank as Assistant Vice President before returning to our organization to continue sharing her knowledge and experience with entrepreneurs. As outlined by Mike Bowman, State Director of the Delaware SBDC:
“The Delaware SBDC was very fortunate to have Margo return for a second tour. As the new State Director, she had a great influence on me and the positive reputation of our team with University of Delaware and our clients.” – Mike Bowman, Delaware SBDC State Director
Margo, cheers to your legacy of hard work and commitment you leave behind. Your work truly produced an everlasting impact, and one that has changed the community for the better in so many ways. We hope you have ample time to enjoy walking through scenic Historic New Castle, rooting for Virginia Tech, reading new books, and traveling. We appreciate the countless hours you have spent assisting and uplifting our clients, and we look forward to your continued service as a part-time Advisor!
May this be the best and most rewarding season of your life – congratulations, and enjoy!
