Delaware State Police Announces CALEA Accreditation Public Comment Portal

On Tuesday, May 16, 2023, a CALEA Accreditation Public Comment Portal will be accessible to the public through the Delaware State Police’s website and Facebook page. The purpose of this public portal is to provide the public with the opportunity to leave comments, commendations, and other information regarding the agency’s quality of service or other information relevant to the accreditation process. The overall intent of the accreditation process is to provide the participating agency with information to support continuous improvement, as well as foster the pursuit of professional excellence.

 

IMPORTANT: CALEA is not an investigatory body and subsequently the public portal should not be used to submit information for such purposes.  Additionally, there will be no response other than acknowledgment to submissions; however, the information will be considered in context to its relevancy to compliance with standards and the tenets of CALEA® Accreditation.
