Delaware State Police are investigating a robbery that occurred yesterday at the drive-thru ATM outside of a bank in the Wilmington area.

On May 8, 2023, at approximately 5:17 p.m., troopers responded to the Wells Fargo located 2024 Naamans Road, Wilmington for a reported robbery at the atm. The initial investigation revealed two male suspects approached a 58-year-old male victim who was servicing the atm. The suspects forced the victim to the ground and bound his wrists with zip ties. After subduing the victim, the suspects demanded money from the atm. The victim complied, and the suspects were able to flee the scene with an undisclosed amount of cash. The victim was not injured during the incident.

The suspects fled the scene in a gold Chevrolet Trailblazer and set fire to the vehicle in a nearby parking lot at the Cliff House Condominiums. The suspects then entered a dark colored vehicle and fled the area.

The two suspects were described as 20–30-year-old males, approximately 5’11” tall, 180-200 lbs., wearing masks and dressed in all dark clothing.
