Delaware State Police Issue Gold Alert for Missing New Castle Man

Delaware State Police Troop 2 is issuing a Gold Alert for 30-year-old James Schafferman of New Castle, Delaware. Schafferman was last seen in the New Castle area on April 1, 2023. Attempts to contact or locate Schafferman have been unsuccessful, and there is a concern for his safety and well-being.

Schafferman is described as a white male, approximately 5’08” tall, weighing approximately 219 pounds, with brown hair, brown eyes, and a beard. There is no clothing description available.

Anyone with information regarding James Schafferman’s whereabouts is asked to contact Delaware State Police Troop 2 by calling 302-834-2620, or by dialing 9-1-1. Information may also be provided by contacting Delaware Crime Stoppers at 1-800-847-3333.
