Detectives Investigating Shooting Outside of a Dover Residence

The Delaware State Police are investigating a shooting that occurred Wednesday afternoon in a Capitol Park neighborhood in Dover.

On November 22, 2023, at approximately 3:22 p.m., troopers responded to a residence on the 100 block of N. Governors Boulevard in Dover for a report of shots fired. Upon arriving, troopers discovered the residence, and two unoccupied vehicles were struck by gunfire. Troopers located and collected multiple bullet casings from the area. The two adults and two children in the residence were not injured. There is no suspect information available at this time.

Troop 3 Criminal Investigations Detectives are still investigating this shooting. Detectives are asking anyone who witnessed or has information regarding this case to contact Detective S.
