The Delaware State Police are investigating a shooting that occurred early this morning in Magnolia. No one was injured and the suspects remain at-large.
On June 21, 2023, at approximately 12:14 a.m., troopers responded to Stevenson Drive for a report of shots fired into a residence. Troopers arrived and discovered that at least three unknown suspects had approached the property on foot and fired at the home several times. The suspects then fled the area and were unable to be located.
There were three adults and four children in the home at the time of the shooting. No one was injured, and the motive behind the incident remains unclear. Surveillance video and images are not yet available.
The Troop 3 Criminal Investigations Unit is still investigating this incident. Investigators are asking for anyone with information regarding this case to contact Detective F. Ofner by calling 302-698-8555. Information may also be provided by sending a Private Facebook Message to the Delaware State Police or contacting Delaware Crime Stoppers at 1-800-847-3333.
