Dogfish Head Craft Brewery will host a new dog-themed festival on Saturday, May 9, featuring dock diving competitions, local vendors and adoptable pets.

“Dockfish Dogs” is free to attend. The family- and dog-friendly event will include dock diving demonstrations and competitions organized in partnership with Delmarva Dock Dogs, along with opportunities to meet adoptable dogs and browse local vendors.

Organizers say the event is designed to bring the community together for a day centered on pets, outdoor activities and local offerings.

The festival will highlight dock diving competitions, where trained dogs leap from a dock into water in distance and height-based events. Attendees can watch the competitions throughout the day while enjoying food and beverages available on-site.

The event will be held at 6 Village Center Blvd. in Milton and is open to the public.
