Narrative: The Dover Police Department has arrested Chanade Dohman, 34, of Dover, on attempted robbery charges following an incident early Tuesday morning. The investigation began when Dover Police Department received a call for an attempted robbery at WSFS bank at 7:35 a.m. Tuesday. Officers responded and contacted the victim who advised that while he was getting money from the ATM, he was approached by a white female that said she had a gun, and demanded the victim turn over money. The victim drove away without turning over any property and the suspect fled.
Detectives were able to obtain a photograph of the suspect and it was released to patrol officers working. At 1:10 p.m., a patrol officer observed Dohman, who matched the description of the suspect, in the 1100 block of Forrest Avenue and took her into custody without incident. Dohman was transported to Dover Police Department where she was processed and arraigned.
Dohman was released on $30,000 unsecured bail on the following charge:
-Attempted Robbery 1st Degree
