A community celebration highlighting Delaware food, small businesses and family-friendly entertainment is set to return to Hudson Fields in Milton on Saturday, June 27, 2026, with First State Fest, bringing together more than 100 vendors, crafters, artisans and organizations for a day focused on local talent and flavor.

The event will feature a wide range of Delaware-based small businesses and makers, along with food trucks and popular regional eateries, including Grotto’s Pizza and Helen’s Sausage House. Organizers say the festival is designed to showcase the state’s “302” identity through food, commerce and community activities.

A scrapple-eating contest featuring Kirby and Holloway is scheduled as one of the day’s main attractions, adding a competitive element to the festival lineup. Live entertainment from Delaware DJs will provide music throughout the event.

Family-friendly activities will include inflatables and children’s entertainment, while adult attendees will also have access to cocktails and other beverage options.

Additional features include raffles and door prizes offered during the event.

First State Fest will be held at Hudson Fields in Milton. Admission is $5 per adult, with children 12 and under admitted free. Proceeds from the event will benefit the Stevenson Foundation
