Milford Museum has announced tickets for their popular Ghost Walk event will begin for members on October 1. Tickets will be for sale to the general public on October 5 for the event planned for Saturday, October 22, 2022.

“This year’s event is going to be much different than previous years,” Denise Curtis, Chairperson of the event, said. “We will have tour guides walking guests through town, telling them about the many ghosts that wander the streets. As they travel along the path, the spirits will come to life, telling their story and providing details about what keeps them from moving into the afterlife.”

The tours will begin at The Towers, located at 101 Northwest Front Street in Milford and travel through town led by the guides. All tours will end at Causey Mansion where owners Jan Broulik and Joe Phillips will talk about the many ghosts that inhabit the mansion. After the tours end, participants are invited to visit some of the many establishments downtown, including Milford Tavern, Park Place and LaHacienda.

“We plan to start tours at 6 PM and send people off in 15 minute intervals,” Curtis said. “There will be six total tours, but tickets are limited to only 20 per tour as it is difficult for larger crowds to hear the tour guides and spirits. That means anyone who wants to attend the tours needs to purchase tickets as quickly as possible. We are also encouraging participants to dress in costume for the event to make it even more fun.”

Tickets for the event are $25 per person. This is a walking tour and participants will need to walk about a half mile on paths that may not be even. Comfortable shoes and clothing are recommended. The tour may not be suitable for people with mobility issues. Children are welcome to attend the tours although the subject matter might not be suitable for very small children. Unfortunately, there are no reduced ticket prices for children.

The link to purchase tickets will be posted on the Milford Museum Facebook page on October 1. The museum requests that only members purchase from October 1 to 3 due to the limited number available. Anyone who is interested in becoming a member of the Milford Museum can do so online at http://milforddemuseum.org/get-involved/become-a-member. Volunteer opportunities are still available as well for this event. Learn more by calling 302-424-1080.
