Milford’s Holiday Stroll, sponsored by Downtown Milford Inc., was a success for 2021. The stroll was replaced with a holiday market in 2020 in order to meet guidelines to protect people from COVID-19. For the first time, the stroll was held on Saturday rather than Friday.

This year’s stroll included a Holiday Market with vendors, specials offered by downtown merchants who remained open later as well as a bonfire, provided by Representative Bryan Shupe complete with s’mores.

One highlight during the stroll was “Buddy the Elf” who entertained the crowds with his Christmas excitement, especially when he saw Santa. Three types of hot chocolate were available at The Loft Realty and Irish dancers performed in front of Irish Rose.

The Milford Museum was open for visitors who were greeted by Maynard Gregory and Claudia Leister dressed in Victorian Christmas attire. Tax Chicks offered their now-famous train setups that delighted both children and adults. Santa was available in his house until 7 PM.

Delaware Music School offered free concerts inside the building, encouraging those strolling to “come in, get warm and hear some beautiful music.”
