The students of Milford High School’s Drama Club are thrilled to present The Rainbow Fish on November 18 & 19.

This adaptation of the popular children’s book is the story of Rainbow Fish, whose unique rainbow scales make her the most beautiful fish in the sea. Though Rainbow Fish is undoubtedly beautiful, she is also vain and selfish, and the other sea creatures do not want to be her friend. However, with a little help from a wise Octopus (not to mention Starfish, Hermit Crab, and a range of other sea creatures), Rainbow Fish learns that it is more important to be nice than to just look nice.

Director Carissa Meiklejohn says, “For this show, we are focusing on our youngest audience members with an enjoyable, interactive performance that teaches positive messages about sharing, character, and friendship. The shorter length and earlier start times are ideal for little ones, though the show will be entertaining for all ages.”
The show lasts just under an hour and is performed without an intermission.

Cast and crew members in this production include Aria Boyton, Charleen Chavez, Frank Delli Paoli, Grace Dupiche, William Donald Evans, Faith Roseren Haymond, Marcel Kellam, Autumn McCormick, Cameron Murray, Gage Nordberg, Nick Maxwell Outten, Jude Parfitt, Alvaro Perez, Phoebe Sampah, Kylie Short, Emily Smallwood, Bronx Stanfield, Boe Stoliker, Emmilea Stoliker, Julie Swigert, Stephanie Rosario Tirado, Mariah Todd, and Taylor Tyree.

Performances will be held in the Milford High School Auditorium on Friday, November 18, and Saturday, November 19. Both evening shows will begin at 6:00 p.m. There will also be an afternoon matinee on Saturday, November 19 at 1:00 p.m. Tickets will be available at the door. Adults $7.00; Students and Senior Citizens $5.00.
