MILFORD, Del. — The Milford Police Department is asking for the public’s assistance in identifying a suspect connected to an attempted burglary at a local bank early Thursday.
Police said officers responded Jan. 8, 2026, to the Del-One Federal Credit Union in the 100 block of Credit Union Way after receiving a report of damage to the glass front door.
According to investigators, video surveillance shows an unknown male attempting to gain entry to the bank by striking the glass door with a rock, causing a hole in the glass. The suspect did not gain access to the building.
The incident remains under investigation, and police have released surveillance images of the suspect.
Anyone with information about the identity of the individual is asked to contact Det./Sgt. K. Marino at 302-422-8081. Tips may also be submitted online through the Milford Police Department website or anonymously through Delaware Crime Stoppers at 800-TIP-3333.
