OperaDelaware will return to Milton Brewery on Tuesday, July 21, for an outdoor pop-up performance featuring scenes from one of opera’s most well-known works.

The free event is scheduled from 6 to 8 p.m. at Milton Brewery, 6 Cannery Village Center, where audience members can gather outdoors near the Steampunk Treehouse for a staged presentation of Pagliacci.

OperaDelaware Company Artists Dane Suarez, Emily Margevich and Gerard Moon will perform selections from the opera, accompanied by narration that guides audiences through the story of love, betrayal and revenge. The performance will feature several well-known operatic arias and duets.

Attendees are encouraged to bring a picnic blanket or lawn chair and enjoy food and beverages available from the brewery during the performance.

The event is part of OperaDelaware’s Pop-Up Opera series, which brings live opera performances to community venues throughout the region.

The performance begins at 6 p.m. Tuesday, July 21, at Milton Brewery, 6 Cannery Village Center in Milton. Admission is free.
