Pavement & Rehabilitation Project Will Require Lane Closure on Southeast 2nd Street

Last week, DelDOT announced to motorists that Southeast Second Street form South Walnut Street to South Rehoboth Boulevard will have daytime lane and/or shoulder closures for milling, patching, paving, ADA curb ramp improvements, and striping.  Flaggers will be on-site to direct traffic.

The street repairs will be conducted on weekdays starting on Tuesday, September 7 through mid-November, pending weather. Times of the road construction will be from 8 AM until 6 PM. Construction on Saturdays may also be necessary.

Motorists should slowdown in work zones for the flaggers and construction crew and anticipate minor delays on Southeast 2^nd Street.
