Last week, DelDOT announced to motorists that Southeast Second Street form South Walnut Street to South Rehoboth Boulevard will have daytime lane and/or shoulder closures for milling, patching, paving, ADA curb ramp improvements, and striping. Flaggers will be on-site to direct traffic.
The street repairs will be conducted on weekdays starting on Tuesday, September 7 through mid-November, pending weather. Times of the road construction will be from 8 AM until 6 PM. Construction on Saturdays may also be necessary.
Motorists should slowdown in work zones for the flaggers and construction crew and anticipate minor delays on Southeast 2nd Street.
