Rehoboth Art League to welcome more than 125 artists for annual Outdoor Show

The Rehoboth Art League will host its 53rd annual Outdoor Show over two weekends in August, bringing together more than 125 artists and artisans from across the country at its Henlopen Acres campus.
The juried fine art and fine craft show will be held Aug. 1-2 and Aug. 8-9. Hours are 10 a.m. to 5 p.m. on Saturdays and 10 a.m. to 4 p.m. on Sundays. The event will be held rain or shine.
Visitors can browse artwork from artists working in a variety of mediums, with many demonstrating their creative process throughout the event. In addition to the artist exhibits, the Outdoor Show will feature live music, food vendors, gallery exhibitions, tours of the historic Peter Marsh Homestead, landscaped gardens and a Dogfish Head beer garden.
The event will also include several fundraisers benefiting the Rehoboth Art League. Attendees can purchase raffle tickets for a chance to win “Cottage in Rehoboth Beach”, an original pastel by Delaware artist Laura Hickman, with the winner to be selected Aug. 9. The league’s volunteer docent team will also host an online art auction featuring donated works from participating artists to raise money for preservation projects on the campus.
Admission is $5 for adults for the weekend, while children younger than 12 are admitted free. Tickets will be available for purchase at the gate.
Limited open-air trolley service will be available from Rehoboth Elementary School, and attendees are encouraged to carpool or bike to the event due to limited on-site parking.
