The week will begin with a Spirited Dinner at Dogfish Head Brewings & Eats on Sunday, Sept. 20, from 6 to 8 p.m. The dinner will feature career mixologist and recurring “Bar Rescue” expert Mia Mastroianni, who worked with Dogfish Head’s culinary team to create a four-course menu paired with Dogfish Head Distilling Co. spirits.
Tickets are $95 and include gratuity. Reservations and event details are available at https://www.dogfish.com/events.
The highlight of the week will be the inaugural Rehoboth Beach Cocktail Week Competition, hosted by Dogfish Head Chesapeake & Maine. Ten local restaurants will compete to create Rehoboth’s top cocktail using Dogfish Head Distilling Co. spirits.
The competition will feature two awards: a “People’s Choice” award, selected by attendees, and a “Judge’s Choice” award chosen by a panel that includes Mastroianni, Rehoboth Beach Main Street Vice President Rachel Macha, Dogfish Head Mixologist Jake Safarik, and Dogfish Head Head Distiller Darren Bobby.
Tickets for the competition are $45 and include cocktail samples from the 10 competing restaurants, light bites from Dogfish Head’s Chesapeake & Maine, the opportunity to vote for the “People’s Choice” award, and access to a silent auction benefiting Rehoboth Beach Main Street.
