The Reindeer Stampede as successful again this year

The 24th annual Reindeer Stampede at Killens Pond State Park Saturday was another rousing success, as 173 runners participated in the event which benefits the Milford High School cross country teams.

Liam MeGinnis took the men’s 5K title in a time of 17:30, while Keely Arndt was the female winner recording a time of 21:30. In addition to the 5K run, participants could also participate in a walk or silent hero event.

“The total profit has not been determined yet,” said MHS coach Lance Skinner. “The proceeds will benefit the teams with gear, equipment needs, scholarships, etc., throughout the year.
