Delaware State Police arrested Michael Stulir, 52, of Greenwood, Delaware for a felony shoplifting that occurred at the Lewes Home Depot on Monday morning.
On November 13, 2023, at approximately 10:08 a.m., troopers responded to Home Depot at 17832 Coastal Highway, Lewes, for a report of a shoplifting. When troopers arrived, they learned that a white male wearing a brown sweatshirt had shoplifted items valued over $1,500 and then fled the store in a red two-tone pick-up truck. A trooper patrolling on Coastal Highway in the area of Westcoats Road, observed a man driving a red two-tone truck that matched the description of the shoplifting suspect. The trooper conducted a traffic stop and contacted the driver, who was identified as Michael Stulir. Stulir was taken into custody without incident.
He was charged with the following crime:
- Shoplifting Over $1,500 (Felony)
Stulir was arraigned by Justice of the Peace Court 2 and released on his own recognizance.
