The Delaware State Police arrested 43-year-old Kathryn Eriksson of Newark, Delaware, for multiple felony criminal charges stemming from a disorderly incident that occurred at a New Castle area bar early this morning.
On October 21, 2023, at approximately 1:11 a.m., troopers were dispatched to Kum-On-Inn located at 249 Christiana Road in New Castle for a report of a disorderly woman with a knife refusing to leave the bar. Eriksson refused to leave and threatened to kill the bar’s employees while waving a knife that she had pulled from her pocket. One of the employees was able to get away and call 9-1-1. There were no injuries reported.
Eriksson was taken Troop 2, where she was charged with the following crimes:
- Possession of a Deadly Weapon During the Commission of a Felony (Felony)
- Aggravated Menacing (Felony)
