State Police Detectives Investigating Armed Robbery in Dover

The Delaware State Police are investigating an armed robbery this morning in Dover.

On April 19, 2024, at approximately 4:00 a.m., troopers responded to an armed robbery in the parking lot of Waffle House, located at 4003 South Dupont Highway in Dover. During the preliminary investigation, detectives learned that four women were sitting in a disabled car waiting for help when they were approached by two black men with guns. The suspects demanded the victims’ property from the car, and they complied. The suspects fled on foot from the scene. The four women were not hurt.

As of now, surveillance video and images of the suspects are not available.

The Delaware State Police Troop 3 Criminal Investigations Unit is investigating this robbery. Detectives are asking anyone with information regarding this case to contact Detective S. O’Leary by calling 302-698-8527. Information may also be provided by sending a private Facebook message to the Delaware State Police or contacting Delaware Crime Stoppers at 1-800-847-3333.
