The Delaware State Police are investigating multiple burglaries that occurred last week at Oakwood Valley Swim Club in Wilmington.
On July 18, 2023, at approximately 9:16 a.m., troopers responded to the Oakwood Valley Swim Club located at 4909 Kirkwood Highway, Wilmington, for a report of a burglary. Troopers discovered an unknown suspect trespassed onto the property when it was closed, damaged a lock box, and stole money.
On July 20, 2023, at approximately 9:03 a.m., troopers responded to the swim club for a second report of a burglary. Troopers discovered an unknown suspect trespassed onto the swim club’s property when it was closed, damaged a door, and stole several items.
There is no description for the suspect at this time. Surveillance images and video are not yet available.
The Troop 2 Burglary Unit is investigating this incident. Detectives are asking for anyone with information regarding this case to contact Detective M. Young by calling 302-834-2620. Information may also be provided by sending a private Facebook message to the Delaware State Police or contacting Delaware Crime Stoppers at 1-800-847-3333.
