The Delaware State Police are investigating a burglary that occurred Monday night at the Dollar General in Newark.
On July 17, 2023, at approximately 11:23 p.m., troopers responded to the Dollar General located at 20 Salem Village Square, Newark, for a report of a burglary. Troopers discovered four unknown females entered the closed business and stole merchandise. Responding troopers attempted to find the suspects in the surrounding area but were unable to locate them.
There is no additional description for the suspects at this time. Surveillance images and video are not yet available.
The Troop 2 Burglary Unit is investigating this incident. Detectives are asking for anyone with information regarding this case to contact Detective M. Kerrigan by calling 302-365-8487. Information may also be provided by sending a private Facebook message to the Delaware State Police or contacting Delaware Crime Stoppers at 1-800-847-3333.
