State Police Seek Witnesses in Wilmington Bar Shooting

Delaware State Police are actively seeking witnesses to a shooting that occurred early Saturday morning at Sweet Daddy’s Bar and Grill in Wilmington.

On June 15, 2024, at approximately 12:31 p.m., troopers responded to a late-reported shooting at Sweet Daddy’s Bar and Grill, located at 3806 Governor Printz Boulevard. A preliminary investigation reveals that around 1:30 a.m. that same day, gunfire was exchanged between unidentified individuals in the parking lot, resulting in damage to an unoccupied vehicle. Fortunately, no injuries have been reported from the incident.

Delaware State Police Troop 2 Criminal Investigations Unit is continuing its investigation and urges anyone who may have witnessed the shooting or has relevant information to contact Sergeant C.
