Families across Sussex County are invited to attend a free Easter egg hunt this weekend at the Sussex County Land Trust’s historic Wolfe House property in Rehoboth Beach.

The inaugural event is scheduled for Sunday, March 22, beginning at 2 p.m. at 36070 Wolfe Neck Road. Organizers say the family-friendly gathering will include a traditional Easter egg hunt across the property’s grounds, along with a special appearance by the Easter Bunny for photos and visits with children.

“This free, family-friendly event will feature a traditional Easter egg hunt on the beautiful Wolfe Neck property.”

While the event is free, advance registration is required to help organizers plan for attendance.

The event is part of Sussex County Land Trust’s 25th anniversary celebration, marking a milestone in its efforts to preserve natural and historic spaces throughout the county. The Wolfe House property, one of the organization’s preserved sites, will serve as the setting for the event.

Participants are encouraged to arrive early for check-in ahead of the egg hunt, which is set to begin promptly at 2:15 p.m.

Organizers also announced additional events planned for later this year, including a July 2 drone light show as part of Delaware’s 250th anniversary celebrations and the return of the annual Dogfish Dash on Sept. 27.

More information and registration details are available through the Sussex County Land Trust website.
