In an election that sometimes became heated, the Town of Ellendale elected three new council members on Saturday, January 6. Of the seven candidates, three incumbents were defeated. A recent opinion released by the Delaware Attorney General Kathy Jennings found that the Town of Ellendale’s council violated several sections of the Freedom of Information Act (FOIA).
