Dover – The Delaware Department of Transportation announces the closure of SR 8 (Forrest Avenue) just west of SR 15 (Saulsbury Road) starting at 8 pm on Friday, August 4 through 5 am on Sunday, August 6 (weather permitting) for work related to the ongoing intersection improvement project.

Detours:
Motorists traveling westbound on SR 8: turn right onto Saulsbury Road, then left onto Walker Road, then left onto Kenton Road to return to SR 8.
Motorists traveling eastbound on SR 8: turn left onto Kenton Road, then right onto Walker Road, then right onto Saulsbury Road to return to SR 8. [More]
