TRAFFIC ALERT – New Castle County – Old Kennett Road to Close for Wall Repair / Starting Monday, May 15th.

Hockessin — The Delaware Department of Transportation (DelDOT) announces to motorists that Old Kennett Road will be closed between Way Road and Ashland Clinton School Road so crews can rebuild the retaining walls that were damaged last winter. The closure starts on Monday, May 15th with an anticipated opening in September 2023.

A detour will be in place for the duration of the project. [More]
