Georgetown/Millsboro — The Delaware Department of Transportation (DelDOT) will install two new, “full color,” steady stop-and-go traffic signals at the Governor Stockley Road and Avenue of Honor intersections along US 113 between Georgetown and Millsboro to improve intersection safety. Once complete, the new steady, green/yellow/red signal operations will be in effect all 24 hours a day; 7 days a week. Starting Monday, January 23rd, motorists should expect minor delays and lane closures nightly from 8 PM to 6 AM (excluding Friday and Saturday nights) due to the presence of flaggers and state troopers along US 113 for the installation of new roadway signing, pavement markings, and traffic signal equipment.
