The Delaware State Police have arrested 44-year-old Kyleef Watts of Bridgeville, Delaware for DUI and felony drug charges following a traffic stop that took place yesterday afternoon in Bridgeville.

On May 7, 2023, at approximately 5:08 p.m., a trooper on patrol observed a white Nissan Murano traveling northbound on Coverdale Road north of Fisher Circle. Watts was subsequently taken into custody for DUI. A search of the vehicle led to the discovery of approximately 385.74 grams (over 13.5 ounces) of marijuana.

Watts was taken to Troop 5 and charged with the following offenses:

  • Possession With Intent to Deliver a Controlled Substance (Felony)
  • Possession of a Controlled Substance in a Tier 1 Quantity (Felony)
  • Driving a Vehicle Under the Influence of Drugs
  • Possession of Drug Paraphernalia
  • Failure to Have Insurance Identification in Possession
  • Cancelled Registration

Watts was arraigned by Justice of the Peace Court 3 and was released on his own recognizance.
