The Delaware State Police arrested 38-year-old Mitchell Harding of Milford, Delaware for felony drug possession after he was found to be trespassing at the Harrington Raceway & Casino early yesterday morning.
On July 16, 2023, at approximately 4:20 a.m., troopers responded to the Harrington Casino after security personnel had observed Mitchell Harding in the building. Harding has been banned from being in the casino since July 2021 and has been warned that he would be arrested for trespassing if he returned. Security employees escorted Harding to their office, and the trooper took Harding into custody. The trooper searched Harding and found that he was in possession of approximately 7.02 grams of methamphetamine and approximately 0.6 grams of crack cocaine.
Harding was taken to Troop 3 and charged with the following crimes:
- Possession of a Controlled Substance in a Tier 1 Quantity (Felony)
- Possession of a Controlled Substance
- Possession of Drug Paraphernalia
- Criminal Trespass Second Degree
Harding was arraigned by Justice of the Peace Court 7 and released on $4,250 unsecured bond.
