*Update – Victim Identified* Troop 2 Collision Reconstruction Unit Investigating Fatal Pedestrian Hit-and-Run Crash in Newark

The Delaware State Police have identified 53-year-old Jorge Arango of Newark, Delaware, as the man who died from injuries sustained in a pedestrian hit-and-run crash that occurred in Newark on April 16, 2024.

The Delaware State Police Troop 2 Collision Reconstruction Unit continues to investigate this incident. Troopers are asking anyone who witnessed this collision to please contact Master Corporal A. Hom by calling 302-365-8483. Information may also be provided by sending a private Facebook message to the Delaware State Police or contacting Delaware Crime Stoppers at 1-800-847-3333.
