The Precisionists, Inc. (TPI), a Wilmington, Delaware-based IT and business services company focused on employment for neurodiverse adults, announces the launch of its neurodiversity employment partnership with Detroit-based Henry Ford Health, a leading national academic medical center serving Michigan communities and beyond. This innovative employment program will leverage the talents of TPIā€™s workforce, who are impacted by autism and other neurodiversities, to tackle critical business needs for Henry Ford.

ā€œWhen properly assessed and trained, people with autism and other neurodiversities are extremely high-performing employees. TPIā€™s employees bring innovative approaches to performing critical and challenging jobs such as administrative business and IT functions,” said Ernie Dianastasis, CEO of The Precisionists. “When you consider that more than 80% of autistic adults in the U.S. are either unemployed or underemployed, we are making a true difference in engaging a significant, untapped labor force. We are thrilled to partner with Henry Ford Health, a leader in the healthcare industry and an employer committed to advancing diversity and inclusion.ā€

This pilot project will begin with a team of five consultants from TPIā€™s workforce performing identity and access management (IAM) services for Henry Fordā€™s Information Privacy and Security Office. While supporting Henry Fordā€™s Identity and Access Management function, TPI consultants will also receive ongoing direction, training, and support from their TPI service delivery leader.

ā€œHenry Ford Health deeply values and embraces the wealth of diversity reflected in our patients and their families, our team members and partners, and in the communities weā€™re lucky to serve,ā€ said Christy Wheaton, Henry Fordā€™s Chief Information, Privacy and Security Officer. ā€œTPIā€™s innovative employment model ā€“ and our partnership with TPIā€”will enable us to leverage the incredible perspectives and talents that neurodiverse team members bring to the table. We are thrilled to welcome our new TPI colleagues to the Henry Ford family.ā€
