The Cape May-Lewes Ferry is bringing back its popular Zoo excursion package for the Fall 2025 season, offering families a chance to pair a relaxing cruise with a visit to the Cape May County Park and Zoo.

“The Cape May County Park and Zoo is a world-class attraction, and our excursion package makes it easier than ever for families to enjoy a day of discovery. With over 550 animals and a beautiful park setting, it’s the perfect fall outing for all ages.”

The package will be offered on select Mondays—September 8, September 22, and October 6, 2025. It includes round-trip foot passage on the ferry, shuttle transportation to and from the zoo, and admission to the Cape May County Park and Zoo. The zoo is home to more than 250 species of animals, birds, and reptiles, with gardens, a playground, and food options available.
The ferry will depart Lewes at 8:45 a.m. and return from Cape May at 6:00 p.m., arriving back in Lewes at 7:25 p.m.
Tickets for the excursion are priced at $30 for ages 14 and older, $17 for children ages 6 to 13, and $12 for children under 6. Shuttle capacity is limited to 32 passengers, so reservations are strongly encouraged. Handicap-accessible service is available with advance notification at the time of booking.
