A new yarn shop and creative space has opened in downtown Rehoboth Beach, with a ribbon-cutting ceremony recently held to mark the occasion.
High Tide Fibers, located at 36 Baltimore Ave., was welcomed by Rehoboth Beach Main Street, local officials and community members during the event.
The shop offers a range of materials and supplies for knitting, crochet, spinning and weaving, along with space designed for workshops and group activities. Organizers describe the location as a gathering place for both experienced crafters and those new to fiber arts.
Owner Theresa Kaskey said the shop features a curated selection of yarns and tools, with a focus on providing a creative and accessible environment for the local community.
Attendees at the ribbon cutting included Rehoboth Beach Mayor Stan Mills, members of Rehoboth Beach Main Street and other community representatives.
High Tide Fibers is now open to the public.
