HARRINGTON, Del. — The Delaware State Fair is back in full swing, offering 10 days of concerts, competitions, carnival rides, and classic fair food. The fair runs through Saturday, July 26, at the fairgrounds in Harrington, drawing thousands from across the region for one of the summer’s biggest events.
Star-Studded Lineup
Headliners this year include country artist Riley Green, gospel legend CeCe Winans, and rapper T.I., providing a wide range of entertainment on the M&T Bank Grandstand. Comedian Gabriel “Fluffy” Iglesias returns to the fair for his third appearance, promising plenty of laughs.
For those looking for music without the ticket price, free daily concerts at Hertrich Plaza feature rising Nashville talents Jess Kellie Adams and Adam Calvert.
Family-Friendly Attractions
From racing pigs to disc-catching dogs, the fair’s daily attractions delight audiences of all ages. The Hollywood Racing Pigs make a return, joined this year by the debut of Racing Corgis. The Disc-Connected K9’s will perform frisbee stunts three times daily, while Circus Hollywood brings acrobatics and clown acts throughout the day.
Animal lovers can visit the Wild About Animals Show featuring exotic creatures, or take in livestock competitions and 4-H exhibits that showcase Delaware’s agricultural roots.
Fair Food Favorites and Newcomers
Food remains a main attraction, with a menu that includes Redneck Nachos—topped with pulled pork, mac and cheese, and jalapeños—along with deep-fried strawberry shortcake, doughnut cheeseburgers, and Scrapple Stix.
New food vendors this year include Claymont Steak Shop, Portia’s Donuts & Boba, and Chick-N-Que, giving fairgoers even more to taste.
