PACE Your LIFE will hold “Experience PACE: A Day in the LIFE” on Thursday, September 19 from 3:30 to 5:30 PM. The event is immersive and will allow visitors to get a firsthand look at the “Program of All-Inclusive Care for the Elderly,” PACE program. The event will take place in the Milford Wellness Village at 21 West Clarke Avenue, Suite 1010 in Milford.
“We are a national program designed to provide comprehensive medical and social services to older adults who qualify for nursing home care but wish to live independently in their own homes,” Erin Steele, Director of Marketing and Communications, said. “With a focus on preventative care and holistic well-being, PACE offers an array of services that include primary care, rehabilitation, transportation, nutrition and much more, all tailored to meet the individual needs of each participant.”
Those who attend the September 19 event will receive a guided walk through of the PACE program where they can see how participants live healthier, more fulfilling lives while remaining in their homes. The PACE Your LIFE team will be available to answer questions and provide additional details. There will also be a tour of the facility as well as a question and answer session.
“This event is for caregivers, family members or even those who are curious about what we do,” Steele said. “It is the perfect opportunity to experience the program up close and personal. We will be serving light refreshments and will those who attend will have the opportunity to connect with others in the community who share a passion for supporting older adults.”
