Tickets are selling quickly for Saturday night’s event!
MILFORD, Del. — A downtown Milford boutique known for blending fashion, furniture and just the right amount of flair is inviting women to grab a glass, browse something beautiful and support a good cause — all in one stylish evening.
The Collective, owned by Ashlee Payton and Brynn Byerly, will host a “sip, shop and connect” night from 5 to 9 p.m. Saturday, Feb. 7, at its storefront at 33 N. Walnut St. Tickets are $40, and in a move that’s equal parts generous and girl-power approved, 100% of proceeds will benefit Girl Talk, a local teen empowerment organization.
Since opening in 2025 in the former Blooming Boutique space, The Collective has carved out a niche with high-end repurposed and new furniture, curated men’s and women’s clothing, accessories and home décor — plus custom furniture and professionally painted statement pieces. The vibe: affordable luxury with an eclectic, “old soul” twist that feels more boutique-city than small-town ordinary.
Saturday’s event leans fully into that energy. Guests can expect light fare, desserts, champagne and mocktails, along with an intimate shopping experience featuring exclusive new arrivals and 15% off purchases — because retail therapy is even better with friends and a little sparkle.
Complimentary customized skincare guidance, discounted products and free gifts with purchase will also be available. Injector Rachel Reynolds of Refresh Aesthetics is scheduled to offer Botox treatments and vitamin B12 shots, while Regina Joyner of Skn Studio will provide skincare consultations and product specials — delivering a glow-up menu to match the boutique’s feel-good mood.
Still, organizers say the heart of the evening goes beyond shopping bags and selfies. The goal is connection — creating a welcoming space where women can relax, mingle and strengthen community ties while supporting local teens.
That community-first mindset has been part of The Collective’s vision from the start. Payton and Byerly have emphasized plans for styling sessions, pop-up vendors, furniture demonstrations and neighborhood gatherings designed to keep downtown Milford lively, walkable and just a little more fabulous.
Event organizers describe the Feb. 7 gathering as a night to “sip, shop and connect,” where the glow is real, the friendships are easy and giving back never looked so good.
