Lincoln, DE – June 24, 2025
Compassionate Hearts Inc., a nonprofit near Milford dedicated to equine-assisted therapy, invites the community to its Healing Hooves Fundraiser on Saturday, June 28, from 3 to 6 p.m. at 8848 September Way in Lincoln, Delaware.
The event will feature live music by DJ Twitch, light fare, a silent auction, and the crowd-favorite Cow Pie Bingo. Tickets are just $35, and all proceeds support Compassionate Hearts’ mission to provide healing and hope through horse-assisted therapy for individuals struggling with trauma, anxiety, grief, and major life transitions.
Located at Little Bit Acres, Compassionate Hearts offers a unique and powerful form of therapy that pairs individuals with horses in a serene farm setting. These sessions foster trust, build emotional awareness, and create pathways to healing for children, teens, and adults—many of whom have tried other approaches without success.
“There are so many in our community carrying unseen emotional burdens,” said a spokesperson for the organization. “Our horses help them find their strength again. Supporting this fundraiser means helping someone take the first step toward healing.”
Funds raised will help cover the cost of care for the therapy horses, maintain safe facilities, and provide scholarships for families who can’t afford treatment. Supporters of the cause are not only helping the farm but helping people find peace, confidence, and emotional stability in times of great need.
Whether you come to enjoy the music and food, bid in the auction, or just to visit the horses, Saturday’s event offers an uplifting way to give back. Tickets can be purchased at the gate or online. For more information, visit [insert website or contact info].
As the Compassionate Hearts team says: “When words aren’t enough, let the horses help.”
