MILFORD, Del. — Milford High School is calling on choir alumni to lend their voices to a memorable reunion performance at the 2025 Spring Concert on Tuesday, May 20, at 6:30 p.m. in the Milford High School Auditorium. The evening will culminate with a grand finale bringing together past and present students for a powerful musical send-off.
Under the direction of Mrs. Keefer, the choir’s longtime director, the finale will feature a moving medley of Irish Blessing and I Sing Because I’m Happy. The performance is designed to honor the legacy and spirit of Milford’s choral program—one that has been a cornerstone of the school’s performing arts tradition for generations.
“This is a wonderful opportunity to reconnect with old friends, share your voice, and help us end the concert on a joyful and energetic note,” said Mrs. Keefer. “We hope to see many familiar faces.”
The Milford High School Choir has long been recognized for its commitment to musical excellence and community engagement. Dating back several decades, the program has showcased the talent and dedication of hundreds of students, performing at local events, state festivals, and national competitions. The choir has built a reputation not only for its musical skill but also for fostering camaraderie, discipline, and lifelong friendships.
Over the years, alumni have gone on to pursue careers in music education, performance, and other creative fields, often crediting their time in the MHS Choir as a formative experience. From traditional choral works to contemporary arrangements, the program has evolved while continuing to instill in students a deep appreciation for the power of music.
Alumni planning to participate in this year’s concert are asked to arrive by 5:45 p.m. for a brief on-stage rehearsal. Sheet music and practice tracks are available in advance to help prepare for the performance. These materials can be found at the following link:

All alumni are encouraged to RSVP by emailing Mrs. Keefer at jkeefer@msd.k12.de.us. Community members are also invited to attend the concert, which promises an evening filled with harmony, nostalgia, and celebration of a proud musical legacy.
