This year’s Hippie Fest returns August 16, 2025, with music, vendors, and retro fun—all to support local history.

Peace, love, and groovy vibes are returning to downtown Milford this summer as the Milford Museum hosts its 6th Annual Hippie Fest on Saturday, August 16, 2025, from 3 p.m. to 8 p.m. The beloved outdoor celebration promises an afternoon of music, community, and retro fun on the scenic grounds of the historic Causey Mansion at 2 Causey Avenue.

The 21-and-over event will feature live performances by The Funsters and DJ Dana McDonald of Forever Media, as well as contests, food trucks, and an eclectic mix of local merchandise vendors. Attendees are encouraged to bring their own chairs or blankets and enjoy the festival picnic-style. The event is BYOB, and pets are not permitted.

Proceeds from ticket sales will benefit the Milford Museum, which continues to preserve and share the city’s rich cultural heritage. Tickets are available online, at the Milford Museum, or at the gate on the day of the event (cash or card accepted). Pricing is as follows:

  • $40 through July 31

  • $45 beginning August 1

  • $50 at the gate

There are no electronic tickets; attendees should simply provide the name used during their ticket purchase upon arrival.

For those looking to contribute more to the cause, the museum is offering sponsorship opportunities at three levels:

  • Happiness Sponsor – $250

  • Love Sponsor – $500

  • Peace Sponsor – $1,000

Additional donations are welcome and help support the museum’s programming and preservation efforts throughout the year.
