The Milford Public Library will host a poetry reading later this month highlighting local literary talent as part of National Poetry Month.
The event is scheduled for Thursday, April 30 at 5:30 p.m. and will feature a panel of four Delaware poets reading original works, followed by a brief question-and-answer session.

Participating poets include Angie Knott, Carla S. Christopher, Gail Braune Comorat and Linda Blaskey. Organizers said light refreshments will be available, and attendees will have an opportunity to purchase books from the featured poets after the discussion.
“April is National Poetry Month, and we couldn’t let it pass without celebrating the incredible talent of poets right here in Delaware,” said Milford Public Library Assistant Director Sarah Yatuzis. “We’re excited for what promises to be a wonderful event and are proud to support our local Delaware artists.”
More information about the event and participating poets is available on the Milford Public Library’s website.
