Milford School District is seeking input from the public for future planning

Milford School District is actively seeking input from the district community, families, students, and stakeholders as it launches the ‘Building Our Future’ initiative . This plan will ensure that our district’s facilities, infrastructure, transportation, and technology are well-equipped to accommodate increased enrollment and foster modern learning environments.  The Milford Action Planner (MAP) will serve as a baseline of information from various stakeholders to contribute their perspectives and insights while guiding Milford School District in our approach to growth.

“At Milford School District, we are committed to providing our students with the best possible educational experience,” stated Dr. Hale, Chief Operations Officer. “With the ‘Building Our Future’ initiative, we are taking proactive steps to ensure that our facilities and resources align with the evolving needs of our students and community.”

The 5-year plan, which will be inclusive of all quadrants of our strategic plan compass (Academic Excellence, Building Our Future, Supporting the Whole Student, and Empowering and Investing in Our People), underscores our commitment to achievement and excellence. Through strategic planning and community collaboration, the district aims to lay a strong foundation for continued growth.

Our first step is to establish a baseline – to understand where we stand currently,” explained Trish Gerken, Public Information Officer. “That’s why we are introducing the Milford Action Planner (MAP), a tool that will help us gather data and insights to assess our current status and identify areas for improvement.”

We believe in the power of collaboration and collective input.  By engaging our community in this process, we can ensure that our plan reflects the aspirations and priorities of our stakeholders.

We will begin analyzing responses during our committee meeting in late April. All responses will be confidential and will be used to inform the development of the 5-year plan.
