Network Connect will host its annual NET Gala on April 11, 2026, bringing together community leaders, advocates and partners from across Delaware for an evening centered on the theme “The Power of Us.”
Organizers said the event is intended to highlight collaborative efforts aimed at strengthening communities, expanding access to resources and supporting individuals and families through coordinated services. The gala also serves as a fundraiser for Network Connect’s Community Well Being Ambassador program, which focuses on connecting residents with community-based support.
The evening will feature keynote speaker Wes Bellamy, an educator and advocate known for his work in leadership development, equity and civic engagement. His remarks are expected to focus on community leadership and collective impact.
“The Power of Us reminds us that we don’t do this work alone—it takes community, and this gala both honors that and funds the impact,” said Cierra Hall-Hipkins.
The gala will also recognize several individuals for their contributions to public service and community development. Honorees include Chad Robinson of the Food Bank of Delaware, Dover Councilman Andre Boggerty, Pastor Shockley of House of David, Wilmington Councilman Coby Owens, former Wilmington City Council President Hanifa Shabazz, and Horizon House Director Samuel Leland.
Each honoree will receive an award recognizing efforts ranging from addressing food insecurity and advancing public service to supporting housing stability, faith-based outreach and community advocacy.
Network Connect officials said proceeds from the event will support ongoing programs designed to expand access to community resources and strengthen local support networks.
Tickets and sponsorship opportunities are available through the organization’s website.
