Kent-Sussex Industries (KSI) has recognized driver Will Ishmael as its Staff of the Third Quarter for 2026, citing his commitment to supporting program participants beyond his primary responsibilities.

Ishmael, who transports individuals to and from KSI programs, was selected for the recognition based on his consistent efforts to assist participants both on and off his assigned route. In addition to his driving duties, he regularly helps individuals at the Georgetown Southern Campus get settled for the day, including assisting with personal items, preparing meals and offering additional support as needed.

According to KSI, Ishmael often arrives early to engage with participants and remains involved throughout the day, helping individuals prepare to return home in the afternoon.

KSI Southern Campus Program Director Jessy Adams said, “Will has a huge heart for our participants. He makes sure they feel cared for, supported, and valued. His positive attitude, constant smile, and genuine laughter create a warm and welcoming environment for everyone.”

As a quarterly honoree, Ishmael is now eligible for KSI’s Staff of the Year award, which is scheduled to be announced at the organization’s annual dinner in July.

KSI is a nonprofit organization that provides vocational training and employment services to individuals with disabilities throughout Kent and Sussex counties.
