At a recent school board meeting, Milford School District Superintendent Dr. Kevin Dickerson announced that the district was now using an electronic ticketing option through GoFan for all Milford High School winter sports. Dr. Dickerson explained that other schools had moved to an electronic ticketing system with much success.

“It gives us an idea of what type of crowd we are planning for and helps us have a little bit better monitoring of the finances and exchange of funds and those types of things as well,” Dr. Dickerson explained. “This is something that is very common right now as far as events. It is the first time we are trying it, but it is in effect for boys and girls basketball as well as wrestling and we hope to use it again with football next fall.”

School Board President Jason Miller asked Dr. Dickerson to explain the concept to those who may be unfamiliar with how to buy tickets online. Dr. Dickerson stated that anyone who wanted tickets could go to the Milford High School sports website and click on the Milford GoFan Page link to be taken to the ticket purchase. There is also a link with a digital ticketing guide to assist anyone who is unsure how to use the system.

According to the sports website, all tickets for basketball and wrestling must be purchased through GoFan.com. There is a link attached to each home event as well as a link on Buccaneers-Sports.com. No cash will be accepted for tickets. There is a $1 per ticket fee assessed by the ticketing agency. It is also possible to buy a digital season pass on the site.

To purchase tickets, visit https://gofan.co/app/school/DE21504 or visit https://buccaneers-sports.com and click on the Milford GoFanPage link. The guide link is also available on the Buccaneer Sports website.
