Parson Thorne Mansion was one of the recipients of $124,122 in grant funding from the Delaware Preservation Fund, one of 24 historic sites in Delaware to receive the funding. Two dozen historic structures – 15 houses, four churches, three commercial buildings, a school and a lighthouse – have received grants from the Delaware Preservation Fund.
